Karan Johar SPEAKS UP On Drug Nexus Allegations In Sushant Singh Rajput Case: 'Media Has Resorted To False Allegations, Will Be Left With No Option But To legally Protect My Right'

Karan Johar for the first time breaks his silence since his name has been dragged in the drug nexus case. KJo took to social media to inform that if false news doesn't sotp then he will be forced to take legal action to protect his right.

Karan Johar has been the in centre of the news circle since June 14, 2020, the day Sushant Singh Rajout died. The filmmaker and Dharma Productions headhincho has been under attack by netizens and fans of Sushant accusing hium of nepotism and meting out a step-motherly treatment to Sushant till he was alive. If that wasn't enough Karan's name popped up again after Deepika Padukone's name ermerged in the 2017 drug chats that she exchanged with her manager KLarishma Prakash.

Karan Johar's infamous 2019 party was also revisited and he was targetted once again, with former MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa raking up the topic once again and also visiting the NCB office in Mumbai to file a complaint, urging them to investigate the matter. Now, Karan has broken his silence for the first time in over 3 months. Karan taking to his twitter clarified once again that there were no drugs/narcotics substances present at the party that took place on July 28, 2019. He unequivocally stated that he does not and has never used drugs in his life.

He also went on to clarify that he does not know Anubhav Chopra and Kshitij Prasad and they both are not his "aides". Both Anubhav and Kshitij's name has come to the lgiht post interrogating the drug pedllers that have been nabbed by the NCB. Johar clarified that Anubhav was with Dharma back in 2011-2013 and since then has never been asoociated with Dharma. Kshitij was hired for a project in 2019 which did not take off at all. He emphasised that he does not know both Anubhav and Kshitij in perosnal capacity as they are just employees of Dharma. 

Karan Joahr concluded his clarification and stated that if the news channels and certain sections of print media do not stop producing false, distatesteful and distorted news then he will be left with no option but to take legal action to safeguard his right.
